Meet the Founder: Ummul Banin
Artirift was founded by Ummul Banin, an artist, graphic designer, and writer who has always found comfort, meaning, and inspiration in stories. With a lifelong passion for visual art and storytelling, she created Artirift as a space where creativity and storytelling could meet.
As an artist, she has explored countless mediums—from mixed-media sketches to digital illustrations—each one driven by her fascination with how visuals can speak louder than words. As a designer, she learned how powerful imagery can shape emotions, spark curiosity, and tell stories that linger. And as a writer, she brings a raw, honest enthusiasm for storytelling that keeps every project grounded in imagination. Artirift was born from her dream to turn myths, folklore, and forgotten tales into immersive visual experiences that people of all ages can enjoy, learn from, and celebrate. Through this brand, she hopes to inspire others to rediscover their sense of wonder, and step into a world shaped by art.
